Summary

First things first: I bought this unit to replace my old CFD-G500 (basically same unit) so obviously I do think the device has merit. Initial Experience It comes out of the box like you'd expect any boombox to. Nothing special...

Strength

Line-In, Remote, Good sound for a boombox.

Weakness

Huge/Heavy, No MP3, still sounds like a boombox.

Bottom Line

Sounds good for a boombox, and has line-in. If that's what you want, this will do it. If money's no object, get the JVC $250 one.

Strength

The sound is worth the money asked for the product.

Weakness

Weight, RED Light for bass activation is an eye sore!

Strength

Great sound, looks really cool (neon light in front), remote.

Weakness

Very large, no MP3 (on CD). Too much for girly men. :-)
