Summary

For the money, this deck gives me what I need and want. The user manual is straight forward and easy to understand. The controls are easily seen and operated.

Strength

Good quality sound reproduction. Especially with metal bias tapes. The type 2 tapes are also quite good. The automatic recording level makes recording virtually goof proof. Has the dolby B & C. The price for the features is right.

Weakness

no pause button on the "A" deck.

Summary

The TC-WE 475 is a resonable cassette duel deck for average user. If you have alot of Cassette tapes and love to shuffle your music around, then the TC-WE 675 may be the one. But beside this, both deck is identical. The 475 has many features like auto rec, Dolby B and C, HX circuit, fader, AMS, Pitch, electronic counter. The deck is quite noisy when you play with the auto reverse, stop , etc. keys. Otherwise it sound great for a cassette deck. You have to consider that cd will sound better overall then a cassette. This deck output is a bit mellow in sound at low volume, but if you blast the volume, this deck will output great sound. I can operate my decks with the Sony RMV 2100 Remote Control through the S link to my Sony Receiver.

Strength

Lots of feature. Dolby B, C. HX, Pitch, Auto Rec, AMS, CD Sync.

Weakness

a bit noisy with it feather touch keys. a bit mellow a low volume.

Summary

I bought the Sony Duel cassette from Sears and plug it into my sony receiver strd 845. The music sound great, but it no where sounds as clear or lively as the cd. For people who has a lot of cassette, it is recommeded with this deck. I feel the 475 is sufficent enough then the 675. It has many feature of high speed dub, AMS, pitch control and automatic record level. I have the sony rmv 2100 remote control in which I can control my deck sitting on my easy chair.

Strength

Many feature, like auto rec, Dolby B and C, pitch control, high speed dubbing, AMS. Sound great for being a cassette player.

Weakness

Sound light on low volume, a bit noisy to operate. no stand by mode to turn on power.
